Historical backtest results only. Costs and slippage are excluded. The 30-day and 1-year figures sum closed-trade return percentages; they are not portfolio returns. Past results do not predict future performance.
Subscribers receive buy and sell alerts by email when the AI Agent detects a signal.
This report describes StockElf AI’s model activity. Use the snapshot date to assess freshness; benchmark index changes and live market news require separate sources.
01 / READ THE SNAPSHOT
Four fields.
A clearer daily view.
A stock market report today should help you distinguish what is known from what still needs checking. Start with the report date, then read each position in context.
- 01Holdings
- The number of open US stock model positions in the snapshot. This is the strategy’s position count, not the number of stocks rising across the market.
- 02Buy price
- The model’s recorded entry price in US dollars. Use it as a reference when reviewing a signal; verify a current executable quote with your broker.
- 03Return
- The recorded return associated with the model position. A positive figure describes the record, not the expected return from a purchase now.
- 04Age
- Elapsed days and hours since the model position opened. An older holding is not a newly generated buy signal today.
02 / ADD MARKET CONTEXT
Signals need context.
Use the strategy snapshot alongside exchange information and company disclosures.
Check the trading session
NYSE’s core trading session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with exchange holidays and scheduled early closes. A UTC report date and a US trading date can differ. Check the exchange calendar before treating a snapshot as a same-session update.
NYSE: NYSE trading hours and holidaysRead the company evidence
The SEC’s Investor.gov explains that public company disclosures help investors evaluate securities. Follow a signal with a review of the company’s filings, business risks and recent announcements; a signal table alone does not supply a complete investment thesis.
SEC · Investor.gov: Researching investmentsFor a broader daily market review, separately check benchmark index moves, sector performance and relevant economic releases. Those live market measures are outside this signal feed, so the report cannot establish whether the overall market is rising or falling today.
03 / KNOW THE MEASUREMENT
Behind the
30-day number.
The 30-day signal return adds recorded percentage returns for closed US stock model trades whose close timestamps fall within the trailing 30-day window. Open positions appear separately. The result is neither compounded nor weighted by capital, so it should not be read as the return on an invested portfolio.
For example, two model trades with recorded returns of +5% and −2% contribute +3 percentage points to this sum. This illustration does not describe an actual trade, portfolio balance or annualized result.
The snapshot uses StockElf AI’s configured stock resource and model order records. It can be cached for five minutes; when the source fails, a saved snapshot may be returned and labeled as the latest available report. The snapshot date records assembly in UTC, not the last market quote time for every position.
Historical backtest results exclude transaction costs and slippage. Before comparing a model record with your own account, account for actual execution prices and fees. FINRA highlights that investment costs can reduce returns. FINRA: Financial tips for new investors
COMMON QUESTIONS
Read with clarity.
What does this stock market report cover?
This report covers StockElf AI’s tracked US stock signals: open model positions, reference buy prices, recorded returns and holding age. It is a strategy snapshot, not a complete market news report or a live S&P 500, Nasdaq or Dow quote feed.
Is the report always from today?
Check the date inside the report. It is the UTC date when the snapshot was assembled, not proof that every underlying price was updated then. The service uses a five-minute cache and can show an older saved report when the source is unavailable. Older snapshots are labeled latest available report.
Is the 30-day return a real portfolio return?
No. It adds the recorded percentage returns of US stock model trades closed within the trailing 30-day window. It is not a compounded or capital-weighted portfolio return. Transaction costs and slippage are excluded, and backtest results do not predict future performance.
Does an open position mean a new buy signal today?
No. An open position may have started days or weeks earlier. Read its holding age alongside the reference buy price; neither field confirms a new signal or an executable quote today.
How do I receive buy and sell alerts?
Pro subscribers receive email alerts when the AI Agent detects buy or sell signals. Review the pricing page for subscription options. Alerts provide information; you decide whether to act and place any order through your own broker.
